Rights – You are entitled to the below while producing at ANN
- Outsourcing of your production when needed
- Testing and scaling up of new products
- More capacity
- Other processes than those you currently own
- Emergency assistance in situations where there is a risk of food safety (sifting/metal detection / X-ray etc.) so that you can best serve your customers
- 100% guarantee of confidential treatment of your recipe and associated product/process know-how
- Authorization from Food Authorities, FSSC22000 Certification, Organic Approval from FVST and Kiwa, respectively, GACC Approval, FDA Approval, certified in accordance with AOECS Standard for Gluten-Free Products, Certified in accordance with Demeter Requirements, Kosher and Halal Approval of Specific Product/Process Combinations
- Focus on Documentation, Hygiene and Productivity
- Flexible approach to finding solutions and optimal lead-time, as per agreements and ongoing dialogue
- Visual and quantitative receipt control of your submitted raw materials, including information on identified deficiencies. The goods are considered physical, chemical and microbiologically "released" upon receipt unless otherwise agreed
- Warranty for producing according to your recipe and specification, taking all precautions for proper food production, including focus on eliminating cross contamination, to ensure food safety and quality.
- Qualified and competent staff who have approved hygiene education as well as systematic and thorough training in special processes
- Detailed digital production documentation and comprehensive traceability
- Storage of reference samples of raw materials and finished products for up to 1 year after expiry date
- Possibility of purchase of various services such as procurement of raw materials, purchase of packaging, sampling, collection of various documents (Health Certificates, Country of Origin, Declarations of Conformity, To whom it may concern etc.), ordering of analysis, transport booking, storage of raw materials and finished goods, etc.
- In case of Advanced Nordic Nutrition’s procurement of raw materials: visual, qualitative and quantitative control of raw materials at receipt, including the full physical, chemical and microbiological quality responsibility
- In case of Advanced Nordic Nutrition’s procurement of packaging: visual, qualitative and quantitative control of packaging materials at receipt, including the full physical, chemical and microbiological quality responsibility plus guarantee that declaration of conformity complies to the actual product
Duties - How to help us ensure the best results
- Before receiving your raw materials/packaging on Advanced Nordic Nutrition:
- Possible preparation of NDA/production contract
- Information about your recipe and specification of the product.
- Information on the country of origin of raw materials in the case of 3rd countries
- Information on intended use of finished goods and possible subsequent exports to 3rd countries
- The raw materials used must be fully documented (specification and safety data sheet containing information on the nature of the raw material including potential allergen content. There must be evidence of special status (Organic, Kosher, Halal etc.) as well as the absence of undesirable contaminants (GMOs, chemicals, drug residues, pesticides, etc.). Advanced Nordic Nutrition assumes that you have made risk assessment with respect to Food Fraud and made appropriate measures to ensure correct identity. All documentation must be submitted to Advanced Nordic Nutrition when starting a new project or when making changes.
- ANN receives only organic products from suppliers with approved organic report. It is your duty to ensure that your organic products have been dispatched from approved production and storage locations.
- ANN does not receive products related to pigs (gelatin or the like)
- ANN does not receive peanuts or other ingredients that may contain traces of peanuts.
- ANN does not receive raw materials submitted as samples, as these must not be used in production.
- The packaging used must be fully documented (specification and declaration of conformity for the intended use, including reference to relevant EU legislation, migration test, dual-use statement and indication of temperature/time for the specific product/product type. All documentation must be submitted to ANN.
- ANN will, of course, inform you if we identify issues that we consider may be inappropriate/ contrary to applicable rules or otherwise (eg. incorrect organic/kosher/halal status or the like) but responsibility for recipe, specification, declaration and brand are 100% with you and can never be delegated/passed-on to ANN.
- Based on the above, as well as dialogue on all relevant production details, a Production Instruction is prepared which you approve before the first production.
- Upon receipt of your raw materials/packaging
- ANN must be advised of receipt no later than 24 hours before and you’re welcome to send (electronic) a copy of the delivery note in advance. If this is not complied with, waiting time shall be assumed while the delivery is checked
- All relevant documents must follow the raw material/packaging:
- Delivery date and supplier name and address (including your company name if you are not identical to the supplier - this is extremely important as we will not be able to storage your items properly)
- Information about the lot (trade name and quantity, including any quality categories or the like)
- Information ensuring clear identification and durability (batch/lot number, production and expiration date)
- Indication of possible organic status, including:
- Compatibility with country-specific eco number on packaging and delivery note
- Authorization number of producer if purchased from Danish farms
- Certificate of Inspection, if ANN is the first destination from 3rd countries - stamp/ signature from organic certification body and SKAT. Current transition phase lead to a dual path between physical documents and TRACE database.
- Raw materials must be appropriately packaged in primary packaging intended for the specific use.
- Raw materials/packaging must have the required durability so that consumption can be expected in due time before expiry.
- Raw materials/packaging must at least have secondary packaging covering primary packaging completely (top and sides) so that we avoid contamination of goods or production equipment during subsequent handling and processing.
- Raw materials/packaging must be packed so that no contamination can occur from (or via) the pallet, ie. with appropriate paper-cover and closure between wrap foil and pallet.
- There must be only one product item per pallet. In exceptional cases, if this is not observed, it must be clearly noted/marked that there are more products.
- If sampling of raw materials/packaging is needed upon receipt, which is additional to ANNs' reference sampling, this is invoiced according to an hourly rate.
- Prior to the production of your finished product
- It is your duty to declare and label the product in relation to the recipient country's legislation.
- It is your duty to proof-read and approve packaging/labeling. It is not possible to use e-marking as ANN does not have this certification.
- It is your duty to make a detailed review of the Production Instructions prior to your approval of this so that all details regarding Production, process control, packaging, labeling and shipment are clearly communicated and agreed.
- Fipros ensures that your product preserves its special status (Organic, Kosher, Halal), but you are responsible for requesting audit and any special certificates as well as payment of these.
- When storing your raw material, semi-finished products, finished goods and/or packaging
- You must ensure adequate insurance coverage of your own products (fire/water-damage/theft), including special attention to coverage at a different address than your registered business address.
- Upon shipment of your finished product
- Risk transition occurs no later than when ANN has loaded the goods on the first means of transport. Any simple damage (incident or similar) arising at storage is covered by ANN, whereas responsibility for quality-related parameters including shelf life is covered by you if storage has been done according to the specified storage conditions.
